2-for-1, two poems for you

An Arrow through Me

Love is like an arrow

straight through the heart

Its sharp blow pierces my lung,

and I can not breathe

The look in your eyes

is hard to endure

O, sweet love,

won’t you let me go?

She will never let me go (Onward Hearts)

She lets go gently as I stare at her;

She is made up of stars, and dreams; planets

really that shine brighter than a fiery ball

called the sun

I wanted another kiss; a tender peck was

everything to me; the sweet taste lingers on my lips still

A broken heart mended is a heart saved

Butterfly Hearts, a July poem

Like the butterfly,

she soars high above

A heavenly miracle,

she is the answer

You are my blessing, and a godsend; my

muse

You are the reason for

every breath and motiv

You are not only my hopes and

dreams, but the

Queen of my heart

Hearts and butterflies fluttering in sync

New editor on the scene

Hey, guys. I’m going to be trying my hand at editing; your works are important to me so allow me to dive in with you and challenge your skills.

I know it’s exciting to have an editor, and I would like to be that man, the guy that assists in making your work 100%.

Thank you for reading!

Never Give Up

Son, I know it hurts to

Grow into a man; but also know that

You are fine, and it will all be okay

I’ve witnessed things,b and I have been in your shoes; dream your dreams, and be who you

Want to be

I will never give up

On you

Take these lyrics; take my words; take my voice, And learn from them

Don’t confuse your heart; confide in God; He

Knows the truth behind your eyes

I will never give up

On you, son

Son, I know it hurts to

Show who you

Really are; but, also, see that

She has eyes to view too

I will never give up

On you

Take this song; take my lyrics; take my voice

And hold it close

Don’t confuse love with hate; confide in

Him. Fight the lies that

Reside inside of you

Dad-mode lol

A day in the life …

So, I got a job. It’s pretty cool, the thought that I won’t be home all day.

It’s hard being here 24/7, but I’m persistent and strong. I try to look at things in a brighter aspect. I try to move forward.

It’s not a CEO of a Fortune 500 company, but this new job means a lot to me. It gives me a chance to succeed in life, and that’s all I really want right now.

Thank you guys for reading my poems. The “likes” mean a lot to me.

Older photo. Good times.

Tock of the Clock (for Him), a poem

Revelations is eternal; the

Spoken Word of

Jesus Christ is not absurd

I feel it near; His holy tears

What I wanted and sought after were

Of sin; the beast’s way

He is known well, and He is true;

He can cleanse your soul or

Take throw one to Hell.

Tock of the clock, a ticking in my

Brain, and harder than

Rock is His

Hand.

Block the serpent’s tongue;

Do not

Have fear;

The bell has rung.

He wills away your pain and

Suffering like time throws man

To the

Wayside

I just want to be purified; I

Do not want the serpent’s lie.

A cross to bare; His cross to shield.

Doctor Jekyll, a poem

As I turn into a monster,

I feel the agony of my

Bones being broken and expanded.

My heart pounds and veins split.

Twist and turn goes my spine and there is

Immense pain.

Burning within, I feel a fire ready to

Burst.

The Devil is unleashed and he

Calls himself: Mr. Hyde.

All of his anger

Appeals to my soul, and it won’t

Subside. Losing the battle,

I have become him; we are

One; I was myself, but now

I am Mr. Hyde.

Drowning inside, he wants to

Play. I feel monstrous.

I am an infant under his power.

His nocturnal needs become incarnate, and call out to me; I felt pain.

I feel animosity.

A beast out of man
